Career

Issah worked as an accountant for the NDC. In 2023, he was recognized as leadership personality of the year at the maiden edition of the Northern Ghana Business Awards which was organized by KIP Events and partnered by the Tamale Metropolitan Assembly and the National Communication Authority. Issah defeated Alhassan Bashir Fuseini in the NDC parliamentary primaries for Sagnerigu and subsequently won the general election, becoming the constituency’s Member of Parliament in the Ninth Parliament. He currently serves on the Trade, Industry and Tourism Committee as well as the Finance Committee in the Parliament of Ghana.
