Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population (as a part of Shusef District) was 5,738 in 1,619 households. There were 5,341 inhabitants in 1,693 households at the following census of 2011. The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 3,872 in 1,287 households. The most populous of its 107 villages was Dehak, with 826 people. After the census, the rural district was separated from the district in the formation of Sardaran District.
