Oud players like Yurdal Tokcan from Turkey or Saïd Chraibi from Morocco gave masterclasses there, and several oud players of a new generation graduated from it, such as Tarek Abdallah, Ghassan Youssef, Hazem El Shahin or Nehad El Sayyed.
