Her dam got a mile-and-a-half and she won the Lancashire Oaks twice, and it took me three years to find out her best trip, I’ve been a bit quicker with this one." De Sousa said "I was doing my own fractions and not looking at the pacemaker. Arabian Queen isn’t very big, but she has a big heart and when Golden Horn got a little bit ahead of me she just battled back". Jeff Smith said "She's a filly on an upward curve. I've been boring people by telling them that before this race no-one knew if the three-year-old fillies were as good as the three-year-old colts as they hadn't met. She has a wonderful temperament and loves her racing. She's just one of those that pops out and becomes a champion."
