Local political career

She was elected as a Conservative councillor for Barnes ward in the 2018 Richmond upon Thames London Borough Council election and became the deputy leader of the Conservative group on Richmond Council. She lost her seat to the Liberal Democrats at the 2022 Richmond upon Thames London Borough Council election.
