Apanomeritis has a musical meter of two quarters, consists of ten steps and the grip from the palms is with the hands crossed down. It is danced in a circle.{{Cite web, url=https://sites.google.com/site/mousikekaichoroiteskretes/choroi-1/apanomerites, title=Απανωμερίτης - ΜΟΥΣΙΚΗ ΚΑΙ ΧΟΡΟΙ ΤΗΣ ΚΡΗΤΗΣ, website=sites.google.com, accessdate=2022-07-14, archive-date=2022-07-14, archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20220714153713/https://sites.google.com/site/mousikekaichoroiteskretes/choroi-1/apanomerites, url-status=dead
