In 2013, Roos began work at the University of Lincoln and retired in July 2024 and is now an Emeritus Professor. She became the Editor-in-Chief of ''Notes and Records'' in 2018. Under her editorship, the first in a series of video interviews was published and the number of entries to the Essay prize significantly increased.
