Paraam is a nephew of Singapore cricket pioneer Stacey Muruthi. His brothers

Domestic career

Paraam played club cricket in England for Horwich in the Bolton Cricket League. He represented
Durham MCC University Durham University Centre of Cricketing Excellence (Durham UCCE), known as Durham MCC University (Durham MCCU) from 2010 to 2020, is a cricket coaching centre based at Durham University in Durham, County Durham, England, and the name under whic ...
in two first-class matches during the 2014 English season. He is one of three Singaporeans to have played first-class matches for an English university around the same time, the others being Oxford University's Sachin Mylavarapu and Durham MCCU's Abhiraj Singh. Paraam has also played club cricket in Australia for Great Northern Raiders in the Cricket Tasmania Premier League.

Paraam was named in Singapore's squad for
