Activism

Inspired by the care received by her mother at the end of her life in 2001, Waring became an activist and researcher for dignity in end-of-life care. She established the Dignity in Care campaign with the Government, which has over 180,000 dignity champions and launched "Dignity Matters" with the National Council for Palliative Care. Waring wrote and directed the 2005 short film ''What Do You See?,'' starring
