Premise

The fortunes of Pamela Blackwood (Shirley Ann Richards), whose parents were killed in an air crash when she was a child, and who has a burning ambition to be an actress. She has a jealous rival, Jane (Doreen Mackay).


Reception

''Wireless Weekly'' wrote Richards played the role "very sweet... but I couldn’t help feeling that there was some truth in the words of her hated rival to the effect that Pamela “was so milk and watery that she just didn’t register at all.” I kept wishing that Pam would stop being so forgiving and work up a good old hate against someone."
