In July 2014, after playing regularly for Leeds in pre-season, White fractured his foot in a friendly against Chesterfield, which required surgery. The injury was set to keep White out for a period of two months, but after complications it was revealed White could miss the remainder of the 2014–15 season. He did manage to return to the squad for the penultimate game of the season on 25 April 2015 when he was named as an unused substitute in a 2–1 win against
