Stenavich took over as starting left tackle at Michigan his sophomore year and kept the spot through his senior year. He was named to the All

first-team in 2004 and the All Big Ten second-team in 2005. He was also a recipient of the Hugh R. Rader Jr. Memorial Award as Michigan's top offensive lineman in 2005.

Star offensive tackle David Bakhtiari played just one half of football throughout the entire season, while his replacement, All-Pro lineman Elgton Jenkins, was lost to a season-ending knee injury in Week 11. Rookie center Josh Myers left a Week 6 game with a knee injury and did not return until the playoffs, and starting right tackle Billy Turner was lost to a knee injury during their Week 14 matchup.
