History

Ad Vitam was founded in 1998 by Alexandra Henochsberg, Gregory Gajos and Arthur Hallereau. The company distributed its first film on 27 January 1999, ''La révolution sexuelle n'a pas eu lieu'', directed by Judith Cahen. As of 2015, Ad Vitam had released more than eighty films in French cinemas. According to Gregory Gajos, head of acquisitions, the company's programming is driven by an impulse to "First, choose films that we like, then think about their success".
