group formed in 1991 by Jack Coleman on bass guitar, James Hurst on drums, Martin Lewis on guitar, Kay-Louise Patterson on keyboards and vocals, and Jeff Williams on vocals and guitar. They released two albums on Torn & Frayed Records, ''Never Comin' Down'' (1993) and ''Son of the North Wind'' (1995) before disbanding by 1997.
Biography
Acuff's Rose were formed as a country rock group in Melbourne in 1991 by Jack Coleman on bass guitar, James Hurst on drums, Martin Lewis on guitar, Kay-Louise Patterson (ex-Battle Happy) on keyboards and vocals, and Jeff Williams on vocals and guitar.
The group were named for United States' 1940s country music artist,
Roy Acuff
