Hohlbein joined the coaching staff of the Wisconsin Badgers men's soccer team in 2015 and as an assistant coach. In 2023, Hohlbein left the Wisconsin Badgers program to join

as an assistant coach, as well as to become the leader of their ''Forward Futures'' program.
