Biography

Solomon born on 25 January 1926. He acquired honors from the
University of Dhaka The University of Dhaka (), also known as Dhaka University (DU), is a public university, public research university located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Established in 1921, it is the oldest active university in the country. The University of Dhaka w ...
. He started his political career in 1946. In 1954, he became joint secretary of the
Krishak Sramik Party The Krishak Sramik Party (, ''Farmer Labourer Party'') was a major anti-feudal political party in the British Indian province of Bengal and later in the Dominion of Pakistan's East Bengal and East Pakistan provinces. It was founded in 1929 as th ...
. After that, he was elected as party's general-secretary in 1956. From the same year, he worked as editor of a weekly newspaper named "''Awaaz''" for four years. In 1965, he was elected a member of the 4th National Assembly of Pakistan representing Dacca-VI and became vice president of the All-Pakistan Labour Confederation. He worked as chief whip of Pakistan National Assembly from 1965 to 1969. After 1966, he was offered to lead the
