and ends at the Hietaniemi cemetery. The event ends with placing candles and wreaths at the graves. There are also speeches in connection with the procession. The march has attracted up to 3,000 attendants according to the Finnish police.

The 612 march was initiated by the

The march has been criticized in foreign media as a neo-Nazi "SS march" because the event ends at the Hietaniemi cemetery where participants visit the monument to the Finnish SS Battalion and the tomb of
