2026 NFL Draft

The 2026 NFL draft will be the 91st annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible players. The event is scheduled to be held in Pittsburgh on April 23–25.

Host city

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was announced as the host city on May 22, 2024. It will be held on April 23–25, 2026.

Trades involving draft picks

In the explanations below (PD) indicates trades completed prior to the start of the draft (i.e. Pre–Draft), while (D) denotes trades that take place during the 2026 draft.

Round 1

*Jacksonville → Cleveland (PD) Jacksonville traded a first-round selection and their 2025 first-, second-, fourth-round selections to Cleveland in exchange for their 2025 first-, fourth- and sixth-round selections.
*Atlanta → LA Rams (PD). Atlanta traded a first-round selection and 2025 second- and seventh-round selections to LA Rams in exchange for 2025 first- and third-round selections.

Round 2

* Washington → Houston (PD). Washington traded second- and fourth-round selections as well as 2025 third- and seventh-round selections to Houston in exchange for OT Laremy Tunsil and a 2025 fourth-round selection.

Round 3

*NY Jets → Philadelphia (PD). NY Jets traded a third-round selection to Philadelphia in exchange for LB Haason Reddick.
* NY Giants → Houston (PD). NY Giants traded a 2026 third-round selection and 2025 second- and third-round selections (34th and 99th overall) to Houston in exchange for a first-round selection (25th overall).
* Detroit → Jacksonville (PD). Detroit traded two third-round selections and a 2025 third-round selection to Jacksonville in exchange for a sixth-round selection and 2025 third- and fourth-round selections.

* Minnesota → Jacksonville (PD). Minnesota traded a conditional fifth-round selection to Jacksonville in exchange for OT Cam Robinson and a conditional seventh-round selection.
*Houston → Philadelphia (PD). Houston traded a fifth-round selection and G Kenyon Green to Philadelphia in exchange for a sixth-round selection and S C. J. Gardner-Johnson.

Resolution JC-2A picks

Resolution JC-2A, enacted by the NFL in November 2020, rewards teams for developing minority candidates for head coach and/or general manager positions. The resolution rewards teams whose minority candidates are hired away for one of those positions by awarding draft picks. These draft picks are at the end of the third round, after standard compensatory picks; if multiple teams qualify, they are awarded by draft order in the first round. These picks are in addition to, and have no impact on, the standard 32 compensatory picks. One pick was awarded for the 2026 NFL draft pursuant to the resolution.

*Detroit received a third round selection after NY Jets hired former Detroit defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn as head coach.
