Regulation Changes

A revised playoff format was announced for the 2024 season. *The amount of playoff-eligible drivers was increased from 6 to 10. **All drivers who had a win would get an automatic playoff spot, with the remaining positions being determined by points standings from the regular season. **The ten drivers would start the playoffs with the following points distribution: ***1st - 1010 ***2nd - 1009 ***3rd - 1008 ***4th - 1007 ***5th - 1006 ***6th - 1004 ***7th - 1003 ***8th - 1002 ***9th - 1001 ***10th - 1000 *The amount of playoff races was increased from 2 to 3. **Following each of the first 2 playoff races, the bottom 3 drivers were eliminated from playoff contention. **The highest finisher out of the "Championship 4" drivers in the final race would be crowned champion.
