Athletes competing in the Diamond League disciplines earned extra compensation and points which went towards qualifying for the

finals. First place earned 8 points, with each step down in place earning one less point than the previous, until no points are awarded in 9th place or lower. In the case of a tie, each tying athlete earns the full amount of points for the place.
