, the highest division of Vietnamese football and the 24th as a professional league. The season was scheduled to commence on 20 October 2023 and ends on 30 June 2024. Cong An Hanoi was the defending champions. This season was the first since the 2001–02 season to have an inter-year schedule (autumn-to-spring) instead of an intra-year schedule (spring-to-autumn) to follow the schedule changes in the AFC competitions.
