Petro de Luanda defeated Ferroviário by a wide margin, with twelve of Petro's players scoring at least three points. In the second game of the day, Al Ahly led by as many as 33 points in the third quarter before a late rally by the City Oilers. The Oilers managed to cut the lead to 2 points with 2.6 seconds remaining in the game.

In their second meeting in two seasons, Petro de Luanda blew out the Cape Town Tigers by as much as 39 points.
