and Scott Parel for the lead. Funk regained the lead after a birdie on the par-5 5th hole and extended his lead to two strokes after birdieing the par-4 sixth. Langer cut the lead to one stroke after birdies on seventh and ninth holes, and would take a three shot lead over Parel when Funk triple bogeyed the par-4 12th hole. Langer then birdied 13, 14, and 17 to win his eighth senior major championship by 5 strokes.
