The game was tied at 53 with 24 seconds left on the clock. The Broncos' defense forced a held ball on Findlay with 2.4 seconds remaining, with possession to Findlay. On the inbounds play, Tyler Evans hit a three-pointer at the buzzer—his only three of the game—sealing the Oilers' victory by a score of 56–53.
