Again this time, BJD & BJP fought togetherly as NDA. BJD won 61 seats, BJP won 32 seats. NDA seats = BJD + BJP = 61 + 32 = 93. (93>74 -- magic number) So again NDA formed govt. The CM Nabeen Pattanaik appointed several MLAs from both BJP & BJD as ministers. The opposed alliance was UPA, which consisted of Congress, OGP, Communist. (UPA = 38+2+2 = 42)
