. The championship starts with a group stage and then progresses to a knock out stage. This season saw Bohermeen's return to the top flight after claiming the 1973 Meath Intermediate Football Championship title. Navan O'Mahonys were the defending champions after they defeated Ballivor in the previous years final, however they failed to make it passed the group stage this season. On 13 October 1974, Summerhill won their first Meath S.F.C. title when they defeated Bohermeen 0–9 to 0–7 in the final in
