He has been professor of Applied Economics and History at various universities (Valencia, Alcalá de Henares, UNED and Complutense), as well as professor at the Diplomatic School and member of its board of governors. He was awarded an extraordinary prize for his degree and doctorate in Economics at the University of Madrid and was runner-up for the National End of Career Award.
