Article 12
Article 12 is a youth-led children's rights organisation based in England. Its main aim was to ensure the implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), specifically Article 12. The group, run by a steering committee, worked to ensure the rights of young people were heard by decision makers. It was founded after a young people's rights conference in Greenwich, London, and was run by and for young people aged 18 and under. The administrative duties of Article 12 were run by Children's Rights Alliance for England (CRAE). One of the group's most high-profile campaigns was "Stop Smacking Us", which challenged the physical punishment of children. Betar
The Betar Movement (), also spelled Beitar (), is a Revisionist Zionism, Revisionist Zionist youth movement founded in 1923 in Riga, Latvia, by Ze'ev Jabotinsky, Vladimir (Ze'ev) Jabotinsky. It was one of several right-wing youth movements that arose at that time and adopted special salutes and uniforms influenced by fascism. During World War II, Betar was a source of recruits for both Jewish regiments that fought alongside the British and Jewish groups fighting the British in Mandatory Palestine. Betar was traditionally linked to the original Herut and then Likud political parties of Jewish pioneers, and was closely affiliated with the Revisionist Zionism , Revisionist Zionist militant group Irgun. Bangladesh Islami Chhatri Sangstha
Bangladesh Islami Chhatri Sangstha () is the female student wing of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami. Just like Islami Chhatra Shibir which is Jamaat's male student wing, Chhatri Sangstha also has committees in schools, colleges, and madrasas, as well as in public and private universities, medical colleges, thanas, districts, and metropolitan areas. Bangladesh Jubo Mohila League () is the youth female wing of the Bangladesh Awami League (BAL). History On 6 July 2002, Awami League leader, Sheikh Hasina formed Jubo Mohila League and a convening committee of 101 members were formed. On December 2022, Sarwar Daisy was appointed as president in the third national council of Jubo Mohila League, Sharmin Sultana Lily was appointed as the general secretary of Jubo Mohila League. Bangladesh Youth Union
Bangladesh Youth Union () is the youth wing of the Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB). History On 28 August 1976, the Bangladesh Youth Union was established. In November 1976, the first meeting was held at Nababpur Mahbub Ali Institute and Youth Union's first convening committee was declared, Abul Kashem was elected and appointed as convener. The first national conference was held at Engineers Institution Auditorium in January 1977. At that conference, the organization's name was renamed to 'Bangladesh Youth Union'. At that conference, Nurul Islam Nahid was elected as the president and Abul Kashem was elected as the general secretary. At the second conference of Youth Union in 1981, Abul Kashem was elected and appointed as president and Mahbub Zaman was elected as general secretary of Youth Union. Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir, commonly known as Chhatrashibir or Shibir, is an Islamic student organisation in Bangladesh. It was established in 1977 as the successor to the East Pakistani faction of Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba colloquially known as Islami Chattra Shangha. Its predecessor, which collaborated with and carried out numerous war crimes on behalf of the Pakistani Army during the Bangladesh Liberation War, was dissolved prior to the establishment of Islami Chhatra Shibir in 1977, with most, if not all, of its members becoming part of Islami Chhatra Shibir. The Bangladesh Jatiotabadi Jubodal () commonly known as the Jubodal or Jubo Dal, is the youth wing of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). History Bangladesh Jatiotabadi Jubodal was established on 27 August 1978. On 23 November 2003, the group Hassan Bahini, followers of Jubo Dal Jhalokati District unit president Mir Ziauddin Mizan, attacked the residence of Jubo League Shakherhat union unit president Saidur Rahman Khan Swapan injuring five of his family members. Five members of Jubodal were injured in internal clashes in Barisal in September 2008. In March 2010, Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal was appointed president of the Jubodal and Saiful Alam Nirob its general secretary. The All-Polish Youth () refers to two inter-linked Polish far-right ultranationalist List of youth organizations, youth organizations, with a Political Catholicism, Catholic-nationalist philosophy.
