Vv ZOB
vv ZOB, short for Voetbalvereniging Zuidoostbeemster, is a Dutch football club from Zuidoostbeemster. Since 2019, vv ZOB plays in the Eerste Klasse Saturday. History ZOB was founded on 1 July 1956. In 1969 it joined KNVB's Vierde Klasse. In 1976 and 1977, it won section championships bringing it to the Tweede Klasse, a climb of two leagues in two years. Eerste Klasse
The Eerste Klasse () started as the 1st tier of football in the Netherlands and is now the 6th tier. The league is divided into ten divisions. These divisions correspond to the six districts of the Royal Dutch Football Association: each district is organised geographically. Each division consists of 14 teams. The champion of the Eerste Klasse divisions are promoted to the Vierde Divisie (formerly Hoofdklasse). Furthermore, a season is divided into two periods () of eight matches each. The winners of these periods qualify for promotion playoffs, provided they finish in the top nine overall in the season. The Royal Dutch Football Association (, ; KNVB ) is the governing body of football in the Netherlands.
