Twin-spark
Alfa Romeo Twin Spark (TS) technology was used for the first time in the Alfa Romeo Grand Prix car in 1914. In the early 1960s it was used in their race cars (Alfa Romeo GTA, GTA, Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ, TZ) to enable it to achieve a higher power output from its engines. And in the early and middle 1980s, Alfa Romeo incorporated this technology into their road cars to enhance their performance and to comply with stricter emission controls. The 'Twin Spark' engines In the current Alfa Romeo world the "Twin Spark" name usually refers to the dual ignition engines installed in Alfa Romeo cars. The Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ (also known as the Alfa Romeo TZ or Tubolare Zagato) was a sports car and racing car manufactured by Alfa Romeo from 1963 to 1967. Alfa Romeo GTA
The Alfa Romeo GTA is a coupé manufactured by Italian automaker Alfa Romeo from 1965 to 1971, in both racing ("Corsa") and road ("Stradale") versions. Design In 1962, the successor for the popular Alfa Romeo Giulietta was introduced. This car was the Giulia, internally called the Tipo 105. The 105 coupé used the shortened floor pan from the Giulia Berlina and was designed by Bertone. The name of the car evolved from the Giulia Sprint GT to the Giulia Sprint, and then to the GTJ ( Junior) and GTV ( Veloce) in the late 1960s. At the time, Alfa Romeo was very active in auto racing. Inline-four Engine
A straight-four engine (also referred to as an inline-four engine) is a four-cylinder piston engine where cylinders are arranged in a line along a common crankshaft. The Alfa Romeo GTV and the Alfa Romeo Spider (Type 916) are sports cars produced by the Italian automobile manufacturer Alfa Romeo from 1993 to 2004. The GTV is a 2+2 coupé, while the Spider is a two-seater roadster. Production totaled 38,891 units for the Spider and 42,937 units for the GTV.
