The Young Fresh Fellows
The Young Fresh Fellows are an American alternative rock group, that was formed in 1981 in Seattle, Washington, United States, by Scott McCaughey and Chuck Carroll. Tad Hutchison, Chuck Carroll's first cousin, joined for the recording of the group's debut album in 1983. History Their first album was ''The Fabulous Sounds of the Pacific Northwest'' (1984) after which Jim Sangster joined the group on bass and McCaughey switched from bass to guitar. Carroll left the group in 1988, and was replaced by Kurt Bloch from The Fastbacks. The song "Amy Grant", a comical song about Contemporary Christian music and pop music artist Amy Grant, from the album '' The Men Who Loved Music'', was a success on college radio and arguably their biggest hit. The Presidents Of The United States Of America (band)
The Presidents of the United States of America (occasionally referred to as PUSA, PotUSA, the Presidents of the USA, or simply the Presidents) were an American rock band formed in Seattle, Washington, in 1993. The three-piece group's initial lineup consisted of vocalist and bassist Chris Ballew, drummer Jason Finn, and guitarist Dave Dederer. The band became popular in the mid-1990s for their hits " Lump" and " Peaches"—released in 1995 and 1996, respectively—which helped their self-titled debut album go triple Platinum. The group broke up for the first time in late 1997, since Ballew wanted a solo career; they performed a farewell concert early the next year. They reunited in 2002. The album title and cover were inspired by an actual record from the early 1960s. The original was produced by the regional phone company Pacific Northwest Bell and was intended to promote tourism in the Pacific Northwest region. "Benderama" is the seventeenth episode in the sixth season of the American animated television series ''Futurama'', and the 105th episode of the series overall. It originally aired June 23, 2011 on Comedy Central. The episode was written by Aaron Ehasz and directed by Crystal Chesney-Thompson. Robyn Rowan Hitchcock (born 3 March 1953) is an English singer-songwriter and guitarist. While primarily a vocalist and guitarist, he also plays harmonica, piano, and bass guitar. Bradley James Nowell (February 22, 1968 – May 25, 1996) was an American musician and the lead singer of the band Sublime. Born and raised in Belmont Shore, Long Beach, California, Nowell developed an interest in music at a young age. Nowell formed Sublime with bassist Eric Wilson and drummer Bud Gaugh, whom he had met while attending California State University, Long Beach. During his lifetime, Sublime released the albums '' 40oz. to Freedom'' and '' Robbin' the Hood'' to critical and commercial success.
