The Wiseguys
The Wiseguys were a British electronic duo active in the mid to late 1990s. They only released one proper album together, as their sophomore album, '' The Antidote'', was solely produced by Touché. This album included the hits " Start the Commotion" and " Ooh La La", the former was prominently featured in a Mitsubishi TV advertisement and the latter was used in Budweiser commercials. Career The band was formed in 1994 with two members, Touché ( Theo Keating) and Regal (Paul Eve). They were music production partners from 1990 and released an EP called ''Ladies Say Ow!'' in 1994 on the Blackmarket International record label. The record label Wall of Sound signed the duo and released the double A-side "Nil by Mouth" / "Too Easy" in 1995. The Black Ghosts
The Black Ghosts are an English electronic music duo composed of Theo Keating and Simon William Lord, formed in 2006. They are currently signed to Southern Fried Records in the UK and IAMSOUND Records in North America. Keating and Lord had previously been in the bands the Wiseguys and Simian, respectively. Keating is well known for his other recording synonyms Touche and Fake Blood. History Keating and Lord discovered each other through the internet and had only physically met after they had worked on a significant amount of material together. The Black Ghosts' style was described as being "perverse, personal pop music", a tendency that has its roots in both Keating and Lord's early childhood. Norman Quentin Cook (born Quentin Leo Cook, 31 July 1963), also known as Fatboy Slim, is an English musician and DJ who helped popularise the big beat genre in the 1990s. His music makes extensive use of Sampling (music), samples from eclectic genres, combined with pop structures, processed rhythms and "sloganistic" vocals. In the 1980s, Cook was the bassist for the indie rock band the Housemartins, who achieved a UK number-one single with their cover of "Caravan of Love". After the Housemartins split, Cook moved to Brighton to pursue dance music. He formed the electronic group Beats International, who produced the number-one single "Dub Be Good to Me" in 1990, and played in the band Freak Power.
