The White Stripes
The White Stripes were an American Rock music, rock duo formed in Detroit, Michigan, in 1997. The group consisted of Jack White (guitar, keyboards, piano, vocals) and Meg White (drums, percussion, vocals). They were a leading group of 2000s indie rock and the decade's Post-punk revival, garage rock revival. Beginning in the late 1990s, the White Stripes sought success within the Music of Detroit#1980s and 1990s, Detroit music scene, releasing six singles and two albums. They found commercial success with their third album, ''White Blood Cells'' (2001), which received critical acclaim and propelled them to the forefront of the garage rock revival. ''Wireless'' Festival is an annual rap and hip-hop music festival that takes place in London, England, which is owned and managed by Live Nation Entertainment, Live Nation. ''Under Great White Northern Lights'' is a 2009 documentary film about the White Stripes' summer 2007 tour across Canada directed by Emmett Malloy. It contains live concert and off-stage footage. The film's accompanying album is a collection of various recordings from throughout the tour. White blood cells (scientific name leukocytes), also called immune cells or immunocytes, are cells of the immune system that are involved in protecting the body against both infectious disease and foreign entities.
