High-definition television (HDTV) describes a television or video system which provides a substantially higher image resolution than the previous generation of technologies. Landmark Media Enterprises, LLC (a spinoff of Landmark Communications, Inc.) is a privately held technology company headquartered in Norfolk, Virginia.
