The Von Bondies
The Von Bondies are an American rock band formed in 1997. The band's breakthrough album, '' Pawn Shoppe Heart'', was released in 2004 and features the singles " C'mon C'mon" and "Tell Me What You See". The Von Bondies have headlined tours of the United Kingdom/Europe, Australia, and the United States, taking along supporting bands like The Kills, Kasabian, Franz Ferdinand, Modey Lemon, SSM, The Subways, The Stills, Hot Panda and The Donnas. They have also appeared on ''Late Show with David Letterman'', '' Last Call with Carson Daly'' and '' CD:UK''. The group disbanded in July 2011. They reformed in 2020 and planned a reunion tour, but those plans had to be abandoned due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The band's members have since become involved in other musical projects. SSM are an American garage punk band from Detroit, Michigan, United States, who are signed to Alive Records and feature members of The Hentchmen, The Sights, and The Cyril Lords. Career Taking their band name from their last names, the post-punk trio, SSM, are composed of John Szymanski (vocals, Farfisa organ, synth bass organ, synthesizers, mellotron), Dave Shettler (drums, vocals, drum machine) and Marty Morris (vocals, guitar). Modey Lemon
Modey Lemon is an American garage rock band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The group formed in Pittsburgh's South Oakland neighborhood in 1999 as an informal side project of Dean Swagger, a rock trio that had spent the previous year mainly performing in basements to college party crowds. The original lineup consisted of guitarist Phil Boyd and drummer Paul Quattrone, then nominally students at the University of Pittsburgh. The group made its first appearances at the Halloween weekend in 1999 and played a live set on WPTS 92.1 FM, the University of Pittsburgh college radio station, segments of which later turned up on the group's demo album, ''House on the Hill'' (and, subsequently, its 2002 self-titled release). Franz Ferdinand are a Scottish Rock music, rock band formed in Glasgow in 2002. Kasabian
Kasabian ( ) are an English rock band formed in Leicester in 1997 by lead vocalist Tom Meighan, guitarist and second vocalist Sergio Pizzorno, guitarist Chris Karloff and bassist Chris Edwards. Drummer Ian Matthews joined in 2004. Karloff left the band in 2006 and founded a new band called Black Onassis. Jay Mehler joined as touring lead guitarist in 2006, leaving for Liam Gallagher's Beady Eye in 2013, to be replaced by Tim Carter, who later became a full-time band member in 2021.
