The Revolutionary Black Panther Party
The Revolutionary Black Panther Party or RBPP is a Marxist-Leninist black nationalist organization in the United States. RBPP claims to continue the legacy of the Black Panther Party (BPP) of the 1960s. History In 1992 the RBPP was created. The RBPP states its aims as "protecting and defending our people against genocide, ethnic cleansing, crimes against humanity, the Black African Holocaust and race war waged against people of African descent." The RBPP considers itself to be a continuation of the Black Panther Party active in the United States from 1966 and 1982. Alli Muhammad
Alli Muhammad is an African-American doctor, psychologist, political activist and revolutionary who founded the Revolutionary Black Panther Party, which claims continuity from the Black Panther Party of 1966, the RBPP was officially named in 1992. Background Muhammad was born in Gondar, Ethiopia at that time his father who is of Afro-Caribbean, African-American descent was a medical doctor working in Ethiopia (and also a member of the US Marines). His mother, also a medical doctor of Ethiopian descent. The couple worked between the USA, Caribbean and Africa. The Ferguson unrest (sometimes called the Ferguson uprising, Ferguson protests, or the Ferguson riots) was a series of protests and riots which began in Ferguson, Missouri on August 10, 2014, the day after the fatal Killing of Michael Brown, shooting of Michael Brown by Ferguson Police Department (Missouri), FPD officer Darren Wilson. Thomas Mark Barrett (born December 8, 1953) is an American diplomat and politician who served as the United States ambassador to Luxembourg from 2022 to 2025. He previously served as the 44th mayor of Milwaukee, Wisconsin from 2004 until 2021. A member of the Democratic Party, he was previously elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly (1984–1989), Wisconsin Senate (1989–1993) and U.S. House of Representatives (1993–2003). Darren Seals Jr. (May 15, 1987 – September 6, 2016) was an American racial justice, anti-police brutality, and anti-gun violence activist from Ferguson, Missouri who worked on the assembly line at General Motors. In September 2016, he was found shot dead in a burning car. St. Louis County Police are investigating his death as a homicide; they have not publicly identified suspects or motives. Alton Sterling
On July 5, 2016, Alton Sterling, a 37-year-old black man, was shot and killed by two Baton Rouge Police Department officers, Blane Salamoni and Howie Lake II, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Police were responding to a report that Sterling was selling CDs and that he had used a gun to threaten a man outside a convenience store. They attempted to arrest Sterling which led to a physical struggle on the ground. As the officers were attempting to control Sterling's arms, they shot and killed him. The officers stated that he was reaching for the loaded handgun in his pants pocket. Seconds after the confrontation had started, Salamoni threatened to shoot Sterling, yelling that he would "shoot [Sterling] in the fucking head" if he moved.
