The Last Dinner Party
The Last Dinner Party are a British indie rock band from London, formed in 2021. The band consists of Abigail Morris (vocals), Lizzie Mayland (vocals, guitar), Emily Roberts (lead guitar, mandolin, flute), Georgia Davies (bass), and Aurora Nishevci (keyboards, vocals). They have no permanent drummer, and are currently joined during live performances by Casper Miles. The band signed with Island Records before releasing their debut single "Nothing Matters (The Last Dinner Party song), Nothing Matters" in April 2023, which became a top 20 UK hit. They were awarded the Brit Award for Rising Star, Rising Star Brit Awards 2024, Brit Award in December 2023, subsequently winning the Sound of...#2020s, BBC Sound of 2024 poll. Glastonbury Festival 2023
The 2023 Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts took place between 21 and 25 June and followed the 2022 edition of the festival. The three headlining acts were Arctic Monkeys, Guns N' Roses and Elton John, with Yusuf / Cat Stevens performing in the Legends slot. Over 40 hours of television coverage of the festival was hosted by Jo Whiley, Lauren Laverne, Jack Saunders and Clara Amfo and aired on BBC iPlayer and several BBC channels. Over 85 hours of live radio coverage was broadcast on BBC Sounds. For the first time, British Sign Language was included for all Pyramid Stage performances. Hebden Bridge
Hebden Bridge is a market town in the Upper Calder Valley in West Yorkshire, England. It is west of Halifax and 14 miles (21 km) north-east of Rochdale, at the confluence of the River Calder and the Hebden Water. The town is the largest settlement in the civil parish of Hebden Royd. Hyde Park is a Grade I-listed major park in Westminster, Greater London, the largest of the four Royal Parks that form a chain from the entrance to Kensington Palace through Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park, via Hyde Park Corner and Green Park past the main entrance to Buckingham Palace. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Henry Spychalski, guitarist Duc Peterman, bassist Nico Mohnblatt, drummer Achilleas Sarantaris and keyboardist Seth Evans. Background HMLTD formed in London as Happy Meal Ltd. in early 2015. Singer Henry Chisholm goes under the pseudonym 'Henry Spychalski', and was born and raised in Torquay before moving to London. However, there are no specific criteria of what is considered "black"; as a result, pinpointing the exact origin of black MIDI is impossible. The Windmill, Brixton
The Windmill is a pub and live music venue in Brixton, London, England, with a reputation for championing new music. It was voted the third best music venue in London, in a 2012 poll in Time Out magazine, and #7 by The Guardian in 2008, and has been described as "one of the top-10 music venues in the U.K.".
