The Last (band)
The Last is a Los Angeles–based band formed in 1976 by Joe Nolte with high school bandmates Vitus Mataré and Dave Harbison. By 1978 the band included three brothers: Joe (guitar, vocals), Mike (vocals), and David Nolte (bass guitar). They released several albums on SST Records, Bomp! Records and End Sounds. History The band was initially inspired by the nascent CBGB's scene as well as the first Modern Lovers album. David Russell Gordon Davies ( '; born 3 February 1947) is an English guitarist, singer and songwriter. He was the lead guitarist and backing vocalist for the English rock band the Kinks, led by his older brother (and principal writer and singer) Ray, and the both of them were the only consistent members during their existence. Davies also sometimes undertook writing and/or lead vocals duties within the band, for example on songs such as " Death of a Clown", " Party Line", "Strangers" and "Rats". Black Flag is an American punk rock band formed in 1976 in Hermosa Beach, California. The Three O'Clock
The Three O'Clock is an American alternative rock group associated with the Los Angeles 1980s Paisley Underground scene. Lead singer and bassist Michael Quercio is credited with coining the term "Paisley Underground" to describe a subset of the 1980s L.A. music scene which included bands such as the Dream Syndicate, Rain Parade, Green on Red, the Long Ryders and the Bangles.
