The Knux
The Knux are an American alternative hip hop duo, formed in 2003, composed of brothers Kentrell "Krispy" Lindsey (formerly known as Krispy Kream) and Alvin "Joey" Lindsey (formerly known as Rah Al Millio). Both brothers are multi-instrumentalists, who sing and rap, as well as produce the bulk of their own music. Their music contains elements of rock, electronic and pop music. The Knux are well known for their intense live shows; in 2009, they were invited to perform at almost every major music festival in North America. They have also toured with a slew of diverse artists spanning various genres, such as Common, Q-Tip, Nas, The Roots, Shwayze, Lupe Fiasco, DJ AM, Travis Barker and DJ Cobra, among other prominent artists. The Pick, The Sickle And The Shovel
''The Pick, the Sickle and the Shovel'' is the second studio album by hip hop supergroup Gravediggaz. Released on September 16, 1997, via Gee Street, V2 and BMG Records, the album has a more socially conscious sound and is considerably calmer than its predecessor; it features heavy production input by the RZA and his production team the Wu Elements. In contrast to the group's debut album, Prince Paul had less involvement in the production of this album. He did produce the outro and the skit preceding "Hidden Emotions." He was still billed as an official member of the group, however, and appeared on the cover and inserts of the album. Two singles were released from the album, "Dangerous Mindz" and "The Night the Earth Cried," though neither made it to the ''Billboard'' charts. Gravediggaz
Gravediggaz were an American Hip hop music, hip hop group from New York. Known for their Black comedy, dark sense of humor and abrasive, menacing soundscapes, Gravediggaz blended hardcore hip hop and gangsta rap with horror elements to pioneer the hip-hop subgenre of horrorcore. The group was formed in 1991, bringing together Prince Paul (producer), Prince Paul (The Undertaker), Frukwan (The Gatekeeper), Anthony Ian Berkeley, Too Poetic (The Grym Reaper) and RZA, Prince Rakeem (The RZArector). ''It Was Written'' is the second studio album by American rapper Nas, released on July 2, 1996, by Columbia Records. After the modest commercial success of his debut album '' Illmatic'' (1994), Nas pursued a more polished, mainstream sound for ''It Was Written''. Produced largely by Trackmasters, it departed from the debut's raw, underground aesthetic and embraced mafioso and gangsta themes. A nerd is a person seen as overly intellectual, obsessive, introverted, or lacking social skills. ''Eraser'' is the second studio album by American alternative hip hop duo the Knux, released on September 27, 2011 via Cherrytree and Interscope Records. The album was preceded by the release of two singles, the first being "She's So Up", followed by "Run" featuring Kid Cudi. Much like their debut effort '' Remind Me in 3 Days...'' (2008), the album's production was handled entirely by the Knux themselves, however unlike their debut, it features several guest appearances, including Natalia Kills, Jack Davey, Blake Miller and Kid Cudi.
