Grizzled Young Veterans (also shortened as GYV) are an English professional wrestling tag team consisting of James Drake and Zack Gibson. Primarily touring the independent circuit, they also appear on All Elite Wrestling (AEW), its sister promotion Ring of Honor (ROH) and New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where they were Strong Openweight Tag Team Champions. They previously wrestled in WWE, where they are the inaugural NXT UK Tag Team Champions, and later renamed as The Dyad on the NXT brand. Zack Gibson
Jack Rea (born 8 August 1990), better known by the ring name Zack Gibson, is an English professional wrestler and promoter. He is making appearances on the independent circuit, where he also make appearances to All Elite Wrestling (AEW). He has also wrestled in WWE's NXT brand, where he performed under the ring name Rip Fowler as a member of The Dyad. He formed the tag team Grizzled Young Veterans with James Drake in 2017, becoming the inaugural NXT UK Tag Team Champions and three-time Progress Tag Team Champions. Joseph Conners (born 28 May 1987) is an English professional wrestler. Conners competed in many British wrestling promotions, most notably New Generation Wrestling (NGW) and What Culture Pro Wrestling (WCPW), where he was a one-time WCPW Champion. The NXT United Kingdom Championship was a men's professional wrestling championship that was created and promoted by the American promotion WWE. It was primarily defended as the top championship of the NXT UK brand division, a sister brand of WWE's developmental territory NXT based in the United Kingdom. The 2017 United Kingdom Championship Tournament was a two-day professional wrestling streaming event and tournament promoted by the American promotion WWE. It aired exclusively on the WWE Network.
