Teve2
teve2 is a Turkish entertainment channel owned by the Demirören Group. The channel launched on 18 August 2012, with the tv2 name to replace TNT, which had decided to withdraw from the Turkish market due to difficulty. In 10 October 2016, the channel changed its name to teve2. Like most Turkish channels, both local and foreign programs are shown on the channel, and the foreign programs may be broadcast either dubbed or in their original language. The channel is mostly known for its broadcast of the game show Kelime Oyunu (''Word Game'' in English). Kanal D (English: Channel D) is a nationwide television channel in Turkey that is part of Demirören Group. It was founded by Ayhan Şahenk and Aydın Doğan in 1993. The network has also run an international channel, Euro D, since 1996, which is available online, and had the first high definition channel in Turkey, Kanal D HD. The text 'KANAL D' is not displayed in its Turkish broadcast. Only the blue earth section of the logo is displayed throughout commercial sections.Turkish Radio Law requires TV broadcasters have distinct logos during regular content and commercials. Türksat 4A is a Turkish communications satellite, operated by Türksat. It was constructed by Mitsubishi Electric (MELCO) of Japan, based on the MELCO DS2000 satellite bus, and was launched by the American-Russian joint-venture company International Launch Services (ILS) atop a Russian Proton-M space launch vehicle on February 14, 2014, at 21:09:03 from Site 81/24 of the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.
