Shōjō
A is the Japanese reading of Chinese ''xing-xing'' () or its older form ''sheng sheng'' (, translated as "live-lively"), which is a mythical primate, though it has been tentatively identified with an orangutan species. Some commentators have regarded the ''shōjō'' sea spirit with a red face and hair and a fondness for alcohol as part of native Japanese folklore. However, ''shōjō'' as sea-dwelling spirit was a fictional setting in the Noh play ''Shōjō'', a possible embellishment of the ''Shan Hai Jing'' stating this orangutan could be found on a particular seaside mountain. And liquor-drinking was always associated with this beast in China since antiquity. Orangutan
Orangutans are great apes native to the rainforests of Indonesia and Malaysia. They are now found only in parts of Borneo and Sumatra, but during the Pleistocene they ranged throughout Southeast Asia and South China. Classified in the genus ''Pongo'', orangutans were originally considered to be one species. is a Japanese professional mixed martial artist. He is currently fighting in Shooto's bantamweight division, equivalent to North America's flyweight division which is . Shōjō-ji
is a Buddhist temple of the Shingon-shu Buzan-ha sect in Yugawa, Kawanuma District, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. History Shōjō-ji was opened in 807 by the Hossō sect scholar-monk Tokuitsu. The original name of the temple is not known, but the present name has been in use since medieval times. At the time of foundation it was a large temple forming a complete ''Shichidō garan'', many attached buildings, twelve houses for monks and more than 100 sub-temples. Today, the temple consists among others of the original auditorium (Yakushi Hall), the residence of the head priest (reception hall), the kitchen, the central gate (''chūmon'') and more than 30 Buddhist statues.
