Ruch Chorzów
Ruch Chorzów () is a Polish professional association football, football club based in Chorzów, Upper Silesia. It is one of the most successful football teams in Poland, having won fourteen List of Polish football champions, Polish Championships, and the Polish Cup thrice. As of the 2025–26 I liga, 2025–26 season, they compete in the I liga. Ruch's home venue is the Ruch Chorzów Stadium, with a capacity of 9,300 seats. As it is currently under renovation, Ruch temporarily hosts their games at the Silesian Stadium with a capacity of 55,211 seats. The club is known for its Silesian identity. Ruch Radzionków is a Polish association football club based in Radzionków. As of the 2024–25 season, the club competes in the IV liga Silesia. History Foundation The club was established by a group of Polish activists who modelled the organisation on contemporary German sports associations. Founded as (Games and Entertainment Society) on the 14 August 1919, the Silesian Uprisings, First Silesian Uprising broke out just a few days later in which members of the newly created club became involved. The following year the club changed its name to Ruch Radzionków, although the prefix ( movement) was not as unambiguously Polish as ''Piast dynasty, Piast'', ''Radzin'', and ''Jastrząb'' which were also contenders for the club’s name. The National Movement ( , RN) is a far-right political party in Poland. It is led by Krzysztof Bosak. It claims spiritual descendance from the prewar movement of Roman Dmowski, the National Democracy, which was also commonly called the National Movement. Dave Ruch (born November 8, 1964) is an American performer and teaching artist working with K-12 students and multi-generational audiences across much of the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Ruch specializes in educational programming, performing over two hundred concerts, lectures, workshops and distance learning programs each year. Biography Ruch began playing guitar in 1980. After playing semi-professionally in Buffalo NY and Washington DC from 1982-1992, Ruch became a full-time musician in November 1992, initially teaching music and performing regionally from his home base in Buffalo. He also performed nationally during this period with musicians such as David Gans, Virginia and the Blue Dots, and members of the band moe. Ruch began his arts-in-education career in 1995, developing curriculum-based music programs for K-12 students around social studies content areas. Angela Christine Ruch (, née Cope, born August 18, 1983) is an American professional stock car racing driver. She is the niece of Derrike Cope and the sister of Amber Cope. She last competed in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series, driving the No. 00 Chevrolet Silverado/Toyota Tundra for Reaume Brothers Racing. Racing career Angela and Amber Cope became the third generation of Copes to enter into the world of racing. Daniel Ruch (born January 1, 1983, in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey) is an assistant soccer coach with Virginia Wesleyan. He played professionally for two years for the Virginia Beach Mariners of the USL Second Division and the Wilmington Hammerheads FC. Ruch attended Ridgefield Park High School.
