Mahindra Reva
Mahindra Electric, also known as Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited, formerly known as Mahindra Electric Mobility Limited (2016–2023) and Reva Electric Car Company (2010–2016), was an Indian company based in Bangalore that designs and manufactures compact electric vehicles. The company's first vehicle, the REVAi electric car, was available in 26 countries with 4,000 versions sold worldwide by mid-March 2011. Reva was acquired by Indian conglomerate Mahindra & Mahindra in May 2010. After the acquisition, the company launched the electric hatchback e2o in 2013. Reva () is an urban neighborhood of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It is a sub-neighborhood of Krnjača and is located in Belgrade's municipality of Palilula. According to the 2011 census, it had a population of 2,522. Location Reva is located in the Banat section of the municipality of Palilula. It is situated between the Krnjača's sub-neighborhoods Blok Zaga Malivuk and Janko Lisjak on the west and Blok Braća Marić on the southwest, Ovča on the north, Pančevo on the east and the Danube on the south. Reva Stone (born 1944) is a Canadian artist known for her digital artworks. As one of the first women to be involved in the new media arts in Canada, her large-scale projects influenced many artists she mentored. Early career Stone graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1985. She originally began as a painter in art school, "but that didn't last long" (according to Stone). She began working on interactive pieces in 1989, creating ''Legacy''. Reva Kay Williams is a theoretical astrophysicist. She is the first person to successfully work out the Penrose process using Einstein's Theory of Relativity to extract energy from black holes. Also, she is the first Black American woman to earn a PhD in theoretical astrophysics. Her work focuses on general relativistic astrophysics. Early life and education Williams was born in Memphis, Tennessee and moved to Chicago at the age of 6. She received an AA in liberal arts from Malcolm X College in 1977 and a BA in astronomy from Northwestern University in 1980. The REVA''i'', known as G-Wiz in the United Kingdom, is a small micro electric car, made by the Indian manufacturer Reva Electric Car Company between 2001 and 2012. By late 2013 Reva had sold about 4,600 vehicles worldwide, in 26 countries. Sales in the United Kingdom, its main market, ended by the end of 2011. Reva Appleby Gerstein (born Reva Appleby; 27 March 1917 – 6 January 2020) was a Canadian psychologist, educator, and mental health advocate. She was the first woman Chancellor of the University of Western Ontario, serving from 1992 to 1996. Biography Gerstein was the daughter of Diana (Kraus) and David Appleby. After attending Fern Avenue Public School and Parkdale Collegiate Institute, Gerstein earned a Bachelor of Arts degree (1938), a Master of Arts degree (1939), and a PhD (1945) from the University of Toronto. Reva Zilpha Beck Bosone (April 2, 1895 – July 21, 1983) was an American attorney and politician. She was a U.S. Representative from Utah for two terms from 1949 to 1953. She was the first woman elected to Congress from Utah.
