Qāriʾ
A qāriʾ (, plural ''qurrāʾ'' or ''qaraʾa''; feminine form: qāriʾa ) is a person who recites the Quran with the proper rules of recitation ('' tajwid''). Although it is encouraged, a qāriʾ does not necessarily have to memorize the Quran, just to recite it according to the rules of tajwid with melodious sound. Muhammad Ibn Tayfour Sajawandi
ʿAbū ʿAbdullāh Muhammad Ibn ʿAbū Yazīd Tayfūr Sajāvandī Ghaznavī (), also known as Abū al-Fazl as-Sajāwandī al-Qāriʾ () (died 1165 CE or 560 AH) was a 12th-century Ulama, Islamic scholar, mystic, Qāriʾ and Theology, theologian. Hafiz (Quran)
In Islam, a Hafiz (; , pl. ''ḥuffāẓ'' , f. ''ḥāfiẓa'' ) is a person who has memorized the Quran. Hafiza is the female equivalent. A hafiz is highly respected by the community. A hafiz or hafiza are given titles such as "Hafiz Sahb" (Sir Hafiz), "Ustadh" (أُسْتَاذ) (Teacher), and occasionally Sheikh (شَيْخ). Muhammad Ayyub
Muhammad Ayyub ibn Muhammad Yusuf ibn Sulaiman Umar () was a Saudi Islamic scholar, imam, and Qari known for his recitation of the Quran. He was an imam of Al-Masjid an-Nabawi and Masjid al-Quba in Medina, Saudi Arabia. Qari Shakir Qasmi (Urdu: قارى شاكر قاسمى), was a Pakistani Qāriʾ (a reciter of the Quran) known for his work on Radio Pakistan and Pakistan Television ( PTV). Hamed Shakernejad (; born in April 1983, Mashhad, Iran), is an Iranian qari (reciter of the Qur'an). Shakernejad won a world qira'at competition on 15 March 1996 in Saudi Arabia.
