Quadron
Quadron is a Los Angeles–based Danish people, Danish Musical ensemble, duo consisting of singer Coco O., Coco O. and musician/producer Robin Hannibal. The group considers their genre "Electronic music, electronic Soul music, soul music". The self-titled debut album ''Quadron'' was released in late July 2009. ''Paste (magazine), Paste Magazine'' named Quadron "Best of What's Next" in August 2010, and ''New York (magazine), New York'' Magazine named Quadron's self-titled album number 7 in their top 10 best albums of the year. The duo released their second studio album ''Avalanche'' in 2013. History In 2009, Hannibal and Coco O. of electronica collective Boom Clap Bachelors formed the group Quadron. ''Avalanche'' is the second studio album by Danish soul pop duo Quadron. It was released on 31 May 2013 through Vested in Culture and Epic Records. Upon its release, ''Avalanche'' received positive reviews from music critics. Reception At Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream critics, the album received an average score of 72, which indicates "generally favorable reviews", based on nine reviews. Commercial performance Despite its positive reception, the album was a relative commercial failure, only peaking at number 115 on the ''Billboard'' 200 in the United States. Robin Hannibal Mølsted Braun is a Danish record producer and songwriter, best known for being one half of the musical duo Quadron and for being a founding member of Rhye, which he has since left. Besides being involved in both, he is also known for producing two tracks for Little Dragon's ''Nabuma Rubberband'' and received co-writing credits for '' Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe'' by Kendrick Lamar, as the song contained a sample of "Tiden Flyver" performed by his band Boom Clap Bachelors. Rhye
Rhye is an R&B musical project of Canadian singer Mike Milosh. It originally consisted of him and Danish instrumentalist Robin Hannibal. They released the singles "Open" and "The Fall" online without much detail, which led to speculation about the band. Their debut album, ''Woman'', was released on March 4, 2013. In June 2013, the album was longlisted for the 2013 Polaris Music Prize. Mike Milosh, known professionally as Milosh, (born 1976) is a Canadian electronic music, electronic musician from Toronto, who is currently based in Los Angeles, California.
