Alfonso Prat-Gay
Alfonso Prat-Gay (born 24 November 1965) is an Argentine economist and politician. Following the election of Mauricio Macri to the presidency on 2015, he became Minister of Economy. He was also President of the Central Bank of Argentina from December 2002 to September 2004, and was elected National Deputy for the Civic Coalition in the 2009 elections. A decade later, as Minister of Economy in the Macri administration, he lifted four-year-old capital controls on the Argentine currency, a mere six days after taking office. His work earned him Euromoney's Central Bank Governor of the Year award. Prat-Gay is also a member of Washington D.C.–based think tank, The Inter-American Dialogue. He is considered an orthodox liberal who has a good image in the markets and fluent contacts abroad. Prat (; ) is a commune in the Côtes-d'Armor department of Brittany in northwestern France. Population Inhabitants of Prat are called ''pratais'' in French. Breton language The municipality launched a linguistic plan through Ya d'ar brezhoneg on 27 May 2006. Sights The fifteenth century Trévoazan church collapsed in the 1910s and was designated as a historic landmark in 1926. The remains of the frontage and the tower can still be seen. El Prat de Llobregat (), commonly known as El Prat , is a municipality of Spain located in the ''comarca'' of Baix Llobregat in Catalonia. Arturo Prat
Agustín Arturo Prat Chacón (; April 3, 1848 – May 21, 1879) was a Chilean Navy officer and lawyer. He was killed in the Battle of Iquique, during the War of the Pacific. During his career, Prat had taken part in several naval engagements, including battles at Papudo (1865), and at the Abtao (1866). Following his death, his name became a rallying cry for Chilean forces, and Arturo Prat has since been considered a national hero. Prat's name is commemorated on numerous plazas (squares), streets, buildings and other structures in Chile. His name has been commemorated by four of Chile's major warships, including a in the 1950s, a British from 1983 to 2006, and most recently a Dutch transferred to Chile as ''Capitan Prat'' in 2006. Captain Arturo Prat Base (Spanish: Base Naval Antártica "Arturo Prat") is a Chilean Antarctic research station located at Iquique Cove, Greenwich Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica. Opened February 6, 1947 by the First Chilean Antarctic Expedition, it is the oldest Chilean Antarctic station. Until March 1, 2006, it was a base of the Chilean Navy, on which date it was handed over to the regional government of Magallanes and Antártica Chilena Region.
