The band was most known for its song "Sweet Daze", which peaked at #17 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Songs chart in 2001. The band was named after "a man who always seemed to be the life of the party at a Newark, N.J., watering hole". Jason Slater
Jason C. Slater (March 8, 1971 – December 9, 2020) was an American record producer, songwriter and musician. He is best known for being the founding bassist and backup vocalist for the American rock band Third Eye Blind from 1993 to 1994. Following his departure from Third Eye Blind, Slater co-founded the rap rock band Brougham with Luke Oakson and the industrial rock band Snake River Conspiracy with Eric Valentine. He was also a member of two supergroups; "Band of Flakes" (with George Lynch), and Revenge of the Triads (with Charlie Clouser and Troy Van Leeuwen), Outside of his work with bands, Slater produced several albums, most notably with the progressive metal band Queensrÿche, with who he produced five albums for between 2006 and 2013. Format background Mainstream rock stations represent the middle ground between classic rock and active rock on the programming spectrum, in that they play more classic rock songs from the 1970s and 1980s and fewer songs from emerging acts than active rock stations, and only rarely play songs on the softer edge of the classic rock format. They program a balanced airplay of tracks found on active rock and classic rock playlists, but the music playlist tends to focus on charting hard rock music from the 1970s through the 2000s. Adema
Adema is an American rock band from Bakersfield, California. The band formed in 2000 with members vocalist Mark Chavez, guitarist Tim Fluckey, guitarist Mike Ransom, bassist Dave DeRoo, and drummer Kris Kohls. After their first two albums, '' Adema'', and '' Unstable'', the band was plagued with years of conflict and lineup changes. Ransom left the band in 2003 followed by Chavez later in 2004 due to conflicts between themselves and other members of the band. Luke Caraccioli replaced Chavez in early 2005 for one album, ''Planets'', but then left a few months later in late 2005. Vocalist Bobby Reeves and guitarist Ed Faris, both from the band Level, were recruited to join as well, but only released one album, '' Kill the Headlights'' in 2007, before entering a hiatus.
