''In Rainbows'' is the seventh studio album by the English rock band Radiohead. It was self-released on 10 October 2007 as a download, followed by a retail release internationally through XL Recordings on 3 December 2007 and in North America through TBD Records on 1 January 2008. It was Radiohead's first release after their recording contract with EMI ended with their album '' Hail to the Thief'' (2003). Radiohead began work on ''In Rainbows'' in early 2005. SAME Cafe
The SAME Cafe is a nonprofit community cafe with locations in Denver, Colorado, United States and Toledo, Ohio, United States. Brad and Libby Birky invested $30,000 to open the original restaurant at 2023 East Colfax Avenue, Denver, on October 20, 2006, inspired by their background in community service and a visit to the One World Cafe in Salt Lake City, Utah. They opened the second SAME Cafe site in November 2022, in the Main Library of Toledo, OH. The name is an acronym for "So All May Eat", and their motto is "Making healthy, organic food available to all". Pink Peacock (Yiddish: , ) was a café and infoshop in the Govanhill area of Glasgow. Described by its founders as "Anti-Zionism, anti-Zionist" and "the only queer Yiddish anarchist vegan pay-what-you-can café in the world", it opened physically in 2021, after being delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic in Scotland, COVID-19 pandemic, and announced its closure in June 2023. One World Cafe
One World Cafe was a nonprofit community kitchen, and predecessor to the One World Everybody Eats (OWEE) foundation based in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. Its motto was "a hand up, not a hand out." The community kitchen concept is a restaurant based on a gift economy, allowing patrons to "pay what they can" and serving all members of the community regardless of their ability to pay. The Cafe incorporated volunteer and common-effort aspects similar to those of a community garden. The organization's stated goal was to provide all who eat high quality, all natural, simple food and to ask patrons to give fairly in exchange so that all could partake. Lentil As Anything Inc. (Lentil) was a group of pay what you want, not for profit vegetarian and vegan Australian restaurants founded by Shanaka Fernando. Restaurants were located in Melbourne and Sydney and operated on a similar model to pay what you can. The operation closed in February 2022 due to financial concerns and allegations of mismanagement. Lentil is named after the Australian new wave band Mental As Anything. History Lentil was a multicultural, refugee-friendly, organisation founded in September 2000 and was registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission. For-profit
