Aake Anker Ording
Aake Anker Ording (18 December 1899 – 1979) was a Norwegian civil servant and politician for Mot Dag and the Labour Party. He was born in Halden. He was a second cousin of actor Jørn Ording and historian and politician Arne Ording, and a first cousin once removed of educator and theologian Fredrik Ording and theologian Hans Nielsen Hauge Ording. He graduated from the Royal Frederick University with the cand.jur. degree in 1924. While studying he joined a study circle of young, revolutionary intellectuals; Aake Anker Ording, Arne Ording, Erling Falk, Viggo Hansteen and Trond Hegna in particular. These would form the backbone of the group Mot Dag. In 1927 Ording became the first secretary-general of ''Nordisk Clartéforbund'' (the Nordic Clarté Association), which organized the Danish, Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish branches of the organization Clarté. Dynamit Nobel AG is a German chemical and weapons company whose headquarters is in Troisdorf, Germany. It was founded in 1865 by Alfred Nobel. Creation After the death of his younger brother Emil Oskar Nobel, Emil in an 1864 nitroglycerin explosion at the family's armaments factory in Heleneborg, Stockholm, Nobel founded Nitroglycerin AB in Vinterviken, Stockholm. A year later, having found some German business partners, he launched the Alfred Nobel & Company in Germany, building an isolated factory in the Krümmel hills of Geesthacht near Hamburg. This business exported a liquid combination of nitroglycerin and gunpowder known as "Blasting Oil", but it was extremely unstable and difficult to transport, as shown in numerous catastrophes. Arne Ording (7 May 1898 – 26 July 1967) was a Norwegian historian and politician for ''Mot Dag'' and the Labour Party. Pre-war life and career Ording was born in Kristiania as a son of theology professor Johannes Ording (1869–1929) and Fredrikke Ording (1874–1966). He was a maternal great-grandson of Andreas Hauge, a nephew of educator and politician Fredrik Ording and theologian Hans Nielsen Hauge Ording, a first cousin of actor Jørn Ording and a second cousin of Aake Anker Ording. He took his examen artium in 1916, and subsequently enrolled at the Royal Frederick University. Fredrik Christian Wildhagen Ording (6 April 1870 – 2 February 1929) was a Norwegian educator, writer and politician for the Conservative Party of Norway, Conservative Party. Personal life He was born in Drammen as a son of Rector (academia), rector Jørgen Frederik Ording (1832–1888) and Marie Benedicte Wildhagen (1845–1913). Hans Nielsen Hauge Ording (17 August 1884 – 18 February 1952) was a Norwegian theologian. Johannes Ording
Johannes Ording (19 January 1869 – 25 January 1929) was a Norwegian theologian. He served as a professor of systematic theology at the Royal Frederick University from 1906 to 1926, and his appointment caused a stir because some saw him as too liberal. Personal life He was born in Drammen as a son of rector Jørgen Fredrik Ording (1832–1888) and his wife Marie Benedicte Wildhagen (1845–1913). Jørn Ording
Jørn Ording (21 February 1916 – 11 March 2001) was a Norwegian actor, theatre instructor and screenwriter. He was born in Kristiania as a son of Jørgen Fredrik Ording (1880–1930). He was also a nephew of Fredrik and Johannes Ording, a first cousin of Arne Ording, a second cousin of Aake Anker Ording and a first cousin once removed of Hans Ording. He made his stage debut in 1938 at Den Nationale Scene, and was hired at the National Theatre in 1939. From 1944 to 1945, during the German occupation of Norway, he was in exile in Sweden, working at Fri Norsk Scene. He returned to the National Theatre after the war and worked there until his retirement.
